The Eco Preservation Society isn't forcing one to take extreme steps, but rather encouraging each of us to take a minumum of one eco friendly step toward becoming more sustainable. If most of us take one step then as a complete, we could make a substantial difference.

Clean Up Australia Day is on Sunday, 1 March 2020.

It’s the perfect opportunity to join with family, friends, neighbours and colleagues to remove all the rubbish accumulating in your local park, bushland, beaches and waterways before it kills our wildlife.

Over the past 30 years, this single annual event has been supported by 35 million volunteer hours, and responsible for the clean-up of more than 365,000 ute-loads of rubbish across Australia – saving thousands of marine animals and birds from harmful and deadly plastic litter and pollution.

Wildlife Queensland branches throughout the state participate in Clean Up Australia Day actively and enthusiastically every year. We encourage you to get involved and join a Clean Up event.
